The Historical

Bern’s history is palpable here: the cozy Ratsstube with its wood-panelled walls is ideal for celebrations in the closest of circles, but also for meetings or smaller banquets.

The historic Ratsstube used to be located roughly where you can now end the evening in the Salon d’Or. Now it can be found, cozy and heated, in the vaulted cellar. With its lovingly crafted wood carvings and the original mural by Friedrich Traffelet.

Where before the renovation of the Casino Bern you had to share the Ratsstube with other guests, you can now have it all to yourself. You can count on our attentive service and enjoy your event in a historic ambience.
