History
Since its opening in 1909, the Casino Bern has been an important social and cultural meeting place for the city and region of Bern.
The construction was made possible by the Burgergemeinde. It made a contractual commitment to the state and the municipality of Bern to finance a concert hall and community center from its own funds.
After two years of extensive refurbishment, the Casino Bern will open its doors in September 2019. Under the motto “Everything from a single source”, the venue will be presented in new splendor. The new concept closely links the innovative gastronomic experience with cultural events.
